Group Chairman of the party, Özgür Özel, whose CHP Chairmanship was dismissed with the decision of absolute nullity, has described the new party option as a "disaster scenario" so far. It is pointed out that if the new party formula is implemented, many difficulties may arise for Özel and his team, from possible changes in the balance of power to the attitude of mayors, from financing to legal risks.
