Driver emerges unharmed from accident after metal protection on the highway crosses car in SC; PHOTO PMRv/Disclosure A woman was unharmed after the car she was in collided with a tree and then a metal guard on the SC-386, in Mondaí, in the west of Santa Catarina. The 48-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital as she was in a state of shock. At the scene, she refused to take a breathalyzer test and was charged. In the images recorded by the incident, it is possible to see the metal protection on the shoulder of the SC-386 crossing the Fiat Punto on the right side. According to the State Highway Military Police (PMRv), "rush and lack of attention, combined with the heavy fog that covered the winding stretch with no shoulder" led to the accident.
