According to the military, the fire quickly spread to the bedroom and a bathroom. When the team arrived at the scene, the fire was already fully developed, with signs of the so-called “flashover”, when there is widespread combustion in the environment.
The fight against the flames was carried out using three-dimensional attack techniques, combined with hydraulic ventilation to reduce the temperature and control the fire. Combat work lasted about an hour and a half. Then, the teams began the aftermath.
