Impersonating a doctor in Egypt.. The union moves to confront fraudsters

A series of successive incidents brought the issue of doctor impersonation back to the forefront in Egypt, after people were revealed to have practiced the profession without legal qualifications or licenses, which raised questions about control mechanisms and the extent of patients’ ability to distinguish between a real doctor and an impersonator.
