The inclusion of a call for sanctions for Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek in the draft of the European Parliament's Report on Türkiye created controversy. Although this is the first time AP has referred to a specific name, the call for sanctions is not the first. The question being asked at this stage is what this call means.
