The 34th edition of Arraiá da Capital will have national and regional shows, in addition to the traditional June group competition. Among the main attractions are the singer Lucy Alves, the band Companhia do Calypso and the group Moleca 100 Vergonha. The program was announced by Mayor Eduardo Siqueira Campos (Podemos) during a press conference held this Friday (12).
The event structure will feature spaces such as the Arena das Quadrilhas, the Vila Gastronomica, with food trucks, and the new craft drinks, in addition to the Sala de Reboco, focused on forró pé de serra.

The event will be held from June 25th to 28th with national and regional shows and a square dance competition

The Palmas Cultural Foundation (FCP) has already defined the order in which the gangs and candidates for the Queens Competition will be presented. The draw was held at Espaço Cultural José Gomes Sobrinho to ensure the transparency of the process.
On June 25th, at the opening of the event, the Queens Contest will be held, with 12 candidates representing groups such as São João das Palmas, Matutos da Noite and Cafundó do Brejo.
The presentations of the Access Group gangs will take place on the 26th. The Special Group teams will perform on the 27th and 28th of June.
In addition to the competitions, the event will feature an amusement park, typical games stalls and a large food court.
In this edition, the contest will distribute cash prizes to the gangs and highlights that achieve the best placements. In the Special Group, the champion will receive R$40,000. Check the values by category:
Special Group
1st place: R$40 thousand;
2nd place: R$20 thousand;
3rd place: R$ 10 thousand;
4th place: R$5 thousand;
5th place: R$3,500.
Access Group
1st place: R$ 15 thousand;
2nd place: R$ 10 thousand;
3rd place: R$5 thousand.
Community Group
1st place: R$ 10 thousand;
2nd place: R$5 thousand.
Individual Highlights
Rainha do Arraiá: R$ 10 thousand;
Best Entertainer/marker: R$ 10 thousand;
Best Engaged Couple: R$7,500 for each member;
Best Couple of Kings: R$7,500 for each member.
