In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the opposition is mobilizing against the plan to change the Constitution supported by the presidential majority. She accuses Félix Tshisekedi of wanting to stay in power beyond his second term which expires in 2028. This Friday, June 12 in the morning, the C64 coalition wanted to hold a sit-in in front of the seat of Parliament. The authorities banned it from this location deemed “inviolable” and relocated it. But the opposition stood firm and the police intervened.
