Tuberculosis continues to progress in Madagascar, despite advances in treatments. Since 2022, the number of patients has started to rise again, even though funding to fight the disease has become scarce. A team of researchers from the NGO Solthis carried out a vast study to identify the flaws in the care system and propose solutions adapted to the Malagasy context. For a week, doctors, nurses and community workers have been trained in new screening and treatment tools.
