Jáder said that he has been in his career for almost 30 years and believes that sensitivity to each patient's situation is what helps reduce children's fear and families' anxiety. "For many years we have been concerned about making this connection with patients. We face stressful situations in the surgical center: when it is a child, the family is apprehensive in the room; if it is an elderly person, the children are anxious", he explains.
