In 2023, psychologist Andréia Silva discovered that her ferritin levels were very low and needed to undergo iron replacement sessions in a hospital. Worried about the situation, he decided to send a message. “He started talking to me, asked how I was and, shortly after, he showed up at the hospital to accompany me,” Andréia recalled. Robert arrived at the hospital right after a volleyball match, wearing shorts and flip-flops, with sand still on his body from the court. "He appeared all simple, in that spontaneous way, just to keep me company while I did the replacement. He stayed there with me, talking, distracting me. It was a care that really impacted me", he said. According to Andréia, the gesture of affection and attention shown by Robert at that moment made her see him differently. "He wasn't a nurse, he had no obligation to be there. But he had the sensitivity to be company at a delicate moment in my life. What won me over was precisely that, his presence, care and affection." From that meeting on, the two started talking frequently. The relationship strengthened and, a few months later, Andréia and Robert started dating. In June 2025, the couple made their union official. On social media, Andréia has already shared part of the story they lived together. In a post celebrating two years of relationship, she wrote: "Our 'yes' began with real complicity and unlikely companionship. Life, marriage and love are made up of daily choices." Andréia also highlighted that the relationship began at an unexpected moment and when she least expected it. "It wasn't at a romantic dinner that the spark started. It was at the height of a treatment where I was anemic and going through other issues."
