The former South Korean president was imprisoned for 30 years for treason

The Seoul Central District Court sentenced former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to 30 years in prison, after convicting him of high treason for sending drones to North Korea, in a move that the prosecution said was aimed at creating a security crisis in preparation for declaring martial law.
