In Mali, the Ministry of Transport announces a “special operation” from Monday June 15 to register all two or three-wheeled vehicles circulating without regulatory plates, following a decision taken Wednesday June 10 due to “current security imperatives”. Already on June 3, the fight against terrorism justified the ban on motorcycles of 125 cm3 and above outside large cities, which still arouses strong reactions as these vehicles have become essential, particularly in rural areas. Nearly ten days after its entry into force, the measure is also applied in a very disparate manner throughout the country.
