The prison where Deolane Bezerra is held, in Tupi Paulista (SP), offers makeup and beauty products once a week. In the beauty space, prisoners can straighten their hair, brush their hair and paint their nails, for example. The matter came to the agenda after the influencer’s defense questioned irregularities.
According to criminal police interviewed by g1, the influencer has the right to cosmetics and devices, such as lipstick, straightener and nail polish; however, the items are not available in the cells for security reasons. In some prison units, there are dedicated places for "beautification".

Deolane has been in the Tupi Paulista jail since May 22 of this year, after being arrested in Operation Vérnix, aimed at investigating the crimes of criminal organization and money laundering, which involves a transport company located in the west of São Paulo.
According to sources heard by g1, appearance care is part of “female dignity”. The rule is general for all inmates, under the condition that the makeup does not have strong tones. However, some accessories are prohibited, such as mega hair, and therefore the Deolane extension had to be removed.

Notes made by the defense
Deolane Bezerra's defense alleged unsanitary conditions in the cell where she is, such as lack of adequate ventilation, excessive heat and food unfit for consumption; however, the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (SAP) reinforced that the cell is in adequate conditions.
In addition to the beauty items offered, based on the criteria mentioned above, the place has individual rooms equipped with a bed, table, chair, bathroom with electric shower, fan, television, cold water and thermos, as well as a solarium for daily sunbathing.
The defense had claimed that the toilet was next to the eating area. Impossibility of carrying personal hygiene items, constant noise disturbance and restrictions on direct contact with lawyers were also cited.
The lawyers also pointed out the existence of scorpions in the cell, a strong paint odor resulting from recent painting and the need for medical attention.
The penitentiary also denied the allegations of unsanitary conditions and scorpion infestation, stating that it carries out periodic pest control and ongoing maintenance of the facilities.
Another point made by the defense would be that Deolane suffers from panic syndrome, uses controlled medication and has had episodes of low blood pressure and dizziness due to the prison conditions and the difficulty in eating adequately.
The arguments were used so that Deolane could serve his sentence under house arrest. The request was denied by the Court. Understand better throughout this report.
When analyzing the case, the judge considered information provided by the Tupi Paulista Women's Penitentiary, according to which Deolane has been held since May 22, 2026 in a special pavilion of the unit, separate from the other wings of the penitentiary.
The unit also reported that it offers medical, psychological and dental care, visits in a private environment and periodic supply of personal hygiene kits. In the decision, the magistrate stated that the place meets the professional prerogative guaranteed by the Law Statute and that Deolane is in a special cell, separate from the other prisoners.

Request for house arrest denied
The São Paulo Court denied Deolane Bezerra's defense request that she be transferred to a General Staff Room or have preventive detention replaced by house arrest.
However, Presidente Prudente's group from the Public Ministry reinforced that the Tupi Paulista unit, where the influencer is being held, has adequate conditions.
Investigations by the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo (MP-SP) indicate that Deolane Bezerra had committed crimes during an alleged period of house arrest, when the influencer was arrested in 2024. This is one of the reasons why the prison term in the influencer's home was denied this time.
On Wednesday (10), the Public Ministry, from the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco), a nucleus in Presidente Prudente (SP), denounced Deolane Bezerra to the Court.
The MP reinforced that the request for house arrest is not offered in cases of a criminal organization that operates through violence.
