Passengers detain and tie up man who made obscene gestures on a street in Fortaleza Passengers on a bus detained and tied up a motorcyclist suspected of carrying out obscene acts against women inside the vehicle, in Fortaleza. The case occurred this Thursday morning (11) on Avenida Aguanambi. In a statement, the Ceará Military Police reported that the man was taken to the Women's Defense Police Station along with one of the victims. Videos recorded by passengers show the moment when the man on the motorcycle touches his private parts and looks directly at the window of the public transport, where two women were. Two men tied up the motorcyclist until the police arrived and slapped the man in the face. According to a witness report to TV Verdes Mares, the bus was coming from Itaitinga, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza (RMF), to the capital of Ceará. The incident occurred around 6:20 am. "The incident is being investigated by the competent authority, and the police procedure is ongoing," added the PM.
