Fair is being set up in Praça da Matriz Carla Marques/ Inter TV Praça da Matriz, in Montes Claros, hosts, this Thursday (11) and Friday (12), the Regional Solidarity Economy Fair, promoted by the Minas Gerais Government program Percursos Gerais: Trajectory for Autonomy. The event will bring together producers and businesses from more than 16 municipalities, focusing on the sale of handicraft and family farming products. During the fair, the public will be able to purchase products directly from producers, including handicrafts and items from family farming. Entry is free. The fair is held by the Associação Aprendir Produtor Juntos (APJ) and the Government of Minas Gerais, with support from Montes Claros City Hall. Through the initiative, training, workshops and ongoing technical assistance are offered in the areas of family farming, agroecology, business management and marketing. The project has already reached producers in 56 municipalities in the North of Minas and Vale do Jequitinhonha regions, with actions aimed at training and strengthening productive activities. The objective is to expand access to markets, generate income and strengthen cooperative networks.
