Stands delivered for the 42nd Paraibano Crafts Show, in Campina Grande Disclosure/Government of Paraíba The 42nd edition of the Salão do Artesanato Paraibano begins this Thursday (11), in Campina Grande, bringing together more than 500 artisans from different regions of the state. The event continues until the 4th of July, on Avenida Brasília, at the entrance to Campina Grande, and is part of the program of O Maior São João do Mundo. This year, the salon's theme is “Dollmakers – Art of Living, Life of Playing”. In total, ten artisans from different municipalities in Paraíba were chosen to represent the theme of this edition. The stands that will receive the exhibitors were delivered on Monday (8), marking the final preparations for the opening of the event. Thousands of visitors are expected to visit the venue during the hall's opening hours. Entry to the event will be through the donation of 1kg of non-perishable food. Opening hours will be from 3pm to 10pm. In addition to the exhibition and sale of handicrafts from Paraíba, the program will feature several cultural attractions. Performances by June square dances, forró pé de serra trios, folk groups are planned, as well as spaces dedicated to regional gastronomy and services offered by partner institutions.
