In the document sent to the Court and the corporation, the party's national directory alleges that the production shows the use of funds abroad with "complex financial operations" to support the request to open investigations.
The action is based on reports published by the website The Intercept Brasil about Flávio Bolsonaro's relationship with Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, and requests for financing the film.

According to reports, the film received around R$61 million. According to the PT, part of the money was used to "sustain Eduardo Bolsonaro's structure in the United States" which, according to the party, had an "eminently political and electoral function."
"If irregularities are confirmed by the investigative bodies, elements capable of characterizing electoral and criminal offenses may emerge, including those related to the omission, concealment or falsehood of information relevant to the supervision of political-electoral activity, including the hypothesis of electoral misrepresentation (“box 2”), provided for in article 350 of the Electoral Code", says an excerpt from the request.
As the PT maintains in the document, the allocation of parliamentary amendments to companies related to the film's producer may be justification for investigating "a possible configuration of abuse of economic power".
In the document, the PT also mentions that the STF and PF investigate whether the film Dark Horse obtained all the necessary registrations with Ancine to be filmed and produced in Brazil, as well as whether the foreign actors obtained a work visa to come to the country.
