A tree fall on an avenue in the center of Manaus hit two cars. Reproduction/Social Media A tree fell on two cars on Wednesday night (10), on Avenida Getúlio Vargas, in the center of Manaus, and blocked part of the road. Three people were in the affected vehicles and one of them was injured. According to the Amazonas Military Fire Department (CBMAM), the tree fell on a Volkswagen Polo and a Nissan Kicks. At the Polo were a man and a woman. The driver was not injured, but was in shock inside the vehicle and received treatment at the scene before being released. The passenger received pre-hospital care and was taken to João Lúcio Hospital and Emergency Room. The case continues to be monitored by the responsible authorities. Images recorded at the scene show the vehicles damaged after being hit by branches and part of the tree trunk. Firefighters cut down the tree using a chainsaw to clear the road. Five vehicles and around 20 soldiers participated in the incident.
