Rio Innovation Week: global technology and innovation conference starts today at Pier Mauá The organization expects to receive around 180,000 visitors over the four days of the event. This year, the meeting will have the theme "Symbiosis – the future does not happen in isolation", proposing debates on the integration between technology, society, sustainability and economic development. The program will feature approximately 40 stages dedicated to topics such as artificial intelligence, ESG, social innovation, geopolitics, robotics, education, health, energy, creative industry, sport, future of work and cybersecurity. In addition to the lectures, the public will have access to areas of immersive experiences, mentoring, business rounds, startup presentations and spaces focused on education and social impact. What's new in the 2026 edition Among the new features announced for this year is the Word Stage, dedicated to national and international literature. Another debut is Encontros, a space on the edge of Guanabara Bay designed for conversations with personalities from Brazilian culture in a more intimate format. The event will also feature the RIW FGV Economic Forum, focused on debates about global challenges and the role of the Southern Hemisphere in building agendas for the future. Rio Innovation Week 2025 Disclosure In the experience area, one of the main attractions will be the Vortex, an immersive structure measuring approximately 1,000 cubic meters covered in LED panels, which will combine technology, music and art. Another planned installation is "Organysmo by LedPulse", an interactive experience based on light and sound that reacts to the presence and movement of the public.
