After the assessment, the suspicion of a leak in the batteries of a communication system installed at the site was raised. The technical company that was already in the building confirmed the hypothesis. The batteries were disconnected and removed from the environment, being taken to an open and ventilated area.
According to firefighters, approximately 10 minutes after removal, the odor in the room reduced significantly, which confirmed the origin of the problem.
