A small fire scared residents on Avenida Ayrton Sena, in the Porto Alegre neighborhood, South Zone of Teresina, this Wednesday morning (10). The Fire Department was called and contained the flames of a residence with the help of the public.
Nobody was injured. According to employees at a store close to the accident site, one of the residents of the house, already elderly, was quite shaken by the situation and felt ill, but did not need to be hospitalized.

The elderly woman was still in the company of her granddaughter, who worked as a nail designer at the time of the fire.
"The smoke was quite loud, it lasted around 15 minutes. Neighbors sprayed water with a hose and buckets to calm it down, before the firefighters arrived", says the employee.
Still according to the same employee, the beginning appeared in the kitchen of the house, and the suspicion is that a short circuit overloaded the electrical wiring. The room was partially destroyed due to the fire. The fire did not affect other properties.
