If Spanish bullfighting is known throughout the world, few people know that a similar tradition has existed for several centuries in Madagascar: savika. As in bullfighting, man challenges the animal in an arena. But here, no killing: the goal is to hang on for as long as possible on the back of a zebu released into the arena.
