Father who confessed to baby's death is found dead in prison The 25-year-old man who was arrested for confessing to the death of his own son, a baby aged 3 months and 15 days, was found dead on Saturday (6) at the Professor Jacy de Assis Prison, in Uberlândia. The father stated that he called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and tried to carry out choking maneuvers guided by telephone. However, upon arriving at the scene, the medical team identified bruises on the child's face and called the Military Police (PM). At first, the man claimed that the marks had been caused during the rescue attempts. According to the Civil Police, however, the father confessed to having attacked the baby because he was bothered by the child's crying. According to the delegate responsible for the case, Carlos Fernandes, he admitted that he had previously committed other attacks, including throwing his son against the crib.
