The Federal Institute of the South of Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) has open registration for 3,700 places in free technical courses in the Distance Education (EaD) modality. The selection process is governed by Notice nº 147/2026. Registration can be made until 5:59 pm on June 19th, exclusively online, on the IFSULDEMINAS Entrance Exam Portal. The registration fee is R$10. Candidates who meet the criteria established in the notice can request fee exemption until June 10th. The courses last between one and two years, depending on the training chosen, and include face-to-face meetings at the support centers. The vacancies are distributed among different subsequent technical courses, aimed at those seeking free professional qualifications after completing high school. The detailed distribution by course and municipality is available in the notice. The selection process also provides for reservation of places for students from public schools, black, mixed-race, indigenous, quilombola and people with disabilities, as determined by legislation. Furthermore, there is a specific institutional reservation for people with disabilities, regardless of educational background.
