Valinhos (SP), hosts the 18th National Orchid Exhibition from the 12th to the 14th of June Credit: Disclosure: AOV Valinhos On the weekend, from the 12th to the 14th of June, Valinhos hosts the "18th National Orchid Exhibition" which is held by AOV - Associação dos Orquidófilos de Valinhos. The event takes place at Parque Monsenhor Bruno Nardini (Figo Festival Precinct) with entry through gate 07 and free parking. The exhibition should bring together around 700 to 1,000 Orchids, many of them rare, cultivated by orchid growers from various associations in the state of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, with a podium of plants awarded by the jury of AOV - Association of Orchid Lovers of Valinhos, which will be on display for all visitors to enjoy and photograph. On Friday, June 12th, from 9 am to 6 pm, the space will be open for those who wish to purchase plants in the sales sector, more than 6,000 units will be available at producer price. On Saturday the 13th from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday the 14th from 9am to 4pm, visitors will not only be able to buy national and imported Orchids, Ornamental Plants and Cultivation Materials, but will also be able to enjoy the food and crafts area. For those who want to know more about orchid cultivation, the event will feature free lectures on Saturday (13) at 11 am and 3 pm and on Sunday (14) at 11 am and registration will be done on site.
