With a staff of 24 highly trained agents, ROMU assumes a role mainly focused on overt and dynamic patrolling. The new aspect will operate in an integrated manner with the Special Operations Group (GOE), adding forces and expanding the municipality's rapid response capacity. The teams will be strategically distributed to monitor areas with a higher incidence of theft, working directly to prevent petty crimes. According to the Municipal Administration, joint action between the two groups increases the operational capacity of the Civil Guard, allowing for more agile responses and strengthening the sense of security for residents and visitors.
