VFS Global is a very well-known Indian company on the continent: it is to it that many embassies around the world have entrusted the processing of their visa applications. To put it simply, if you are a candidate in Senegal for a visa for France, or in the Democratic Republic of Congo for China, it is VFS which processes your appointment request with the embassies concerned. VFS Global has managed to make it a very lucrative business, to the point of attracting fraudsters in its wake and being the subject of misunderstanding among applicants who complain about the complexity and cost of the procedures.
