The village of Komsomolskoe in the Zaporozhye region, through which supply routes for Ukrainian troops passed, was liberated by fighters of the Vostok group of troops. After the assault, Russian units gained control of several roads that were used to transport forces and cargo of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
