Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) held its first press conference in Delhi on Wednesday. Three spokespersons from the party came to the public for the first time with their demands. He reiterated the demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and said that for this he is ready to talk to both the government and the opposition. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das termed the transfer of CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta as just a show. He said that accountability should be fixed in the education system and transfers alone will not solve the problem. CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke will reach Delhi from America on 6th June. After this they will go to Sansad Marg police station to seek permission to protest at Jantar Mantar. The party has appealed to the youth across the country to join this movement. The party claimed that climate activist Sonam Wangchuk may also join the protest. CJP leaders said that this movement reflects the growing dissatisfaction of the youth regarding the education system and political system.
