Swimming classes at elementary and junior high schools around the country are changing. Due to aging pools and record-breaking heat, some schools are starting to use private facilities or cancel practical classes and switch to classroom instruction. The Japan Sports Agency is aware of this situation and plans to consider ways to conduct classes and support measures.
