Starting from tourism service design and leading a project linking World Heritage and regional development, he emphasized, “Young experts should be the leading players in the World Heritage discourse.” On this day, 32 young experts aged 23 to 32 selected from 30 countries, including Mr. Pupini, attended the opening ceremony of the ‘2026 World Heritage Young Expert Forum’, a preliminary forum linked to the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee. The Young Expert Forum, which started in 1995, is an official preliminary event of the World Heritage Committee. This year’s theme is ‘World Heritage, Community, Education: Empowering Youth as Agents of Change’. The World Heritage Committee will be held in Busan starting on the 19th.
