Iranian state media are reporting US air strikes on large parts of the south and west of the country, including Qeshm, Bandar Abbas and the province of Khuzestan, which borders Iraq. In Bahrain, home of the US Fifth Fleet, missile alarm sirens wailed again at dawn on Monday.
