Kang-Hyun Park (30, Mirae Asset Securities) lifted his first championship trophy on the professional stage. Kang-Hyun Park completely defeated Hyeong-Gyu Woo (24, Korea Racing Authority) 3-0 (11-4, 11-2, 12-10) in the men's singles final of the 2026 Season Professional Table Tennis League Series 2 held at the Daegu Sports Complex Citizen's Gymnasium on the 12th. Park Kang-hyun, who stood on the final stage of the professional table tennis league for the first time in his life, immediately took the top spot and erased the regret of having reached the semifinals in Series 1, Series 2, and Finals of the first season last year. Park Kang-hyun, who had previously defeated Baek Dong-hoon (20) of the same team 3-0 in the semifinals, did not give up a set in the finals. In the third set, he took a match point by leading 10-6, but allowed a 10-10 deuce due to a series of attack mistakes. However, he boldly attacked the opponent's backside and pulled out a mistake, taking the lead again to 11-10, and then sealed the win with a powerful backhand drive. Park Kang-hyun said, "I didn't expect to win, but the play worked out as planned and I think I was lucky." He added, "One game, one game."
