Hopkins is an actor who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the films ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1992) and ‘The Father’ (2020), but he is also a musician who has composed music his entire life. He began learning piano at the age of four, and as a teenager composed music for local plays. Even after gaining international fame as an actor, he also composed music for the movies he directed, ‘August’ (1996) and ‘Slipstream’ (2007). This album contains works inspired by his family and hometown.
