British actor Anthony Hopkins (89), who won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice, signed an exclusive contract as a composer with the global classical music label ‘Decca Classics’ and will release a new album next month. According to the Decca Classics website on the 12th, Hopkins is scheduled to release the album ‘Life is a Dream’ on the 21st of next month. Hopkins is an actor who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the films ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1992) and ‘The Father’ (2020), but he is also a musician who has composed music his entire life. He began learning piano at the age of four, and as a teenager composed music for local plays. Even after gaining international fame as an actor, he also composed music for the movies he directed, ‘August’ (1996) and ‘Slipstream’ (2007). This album contains works inspired by his family and hometown.
