Chubu Electric Power apologizes to Omaezaki City Council special committee over Hamaoka nuclear power plant data fraud issue

In response to the issue of Chubu Electric Power continuing to fraudulently manipulate earthquake data at the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant even after the Nuclear Regulation Authority asked for an explanation, a special committee was held on the 9th at the city council of Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where the nuclear power plant is located, and Chubu Electric Power executives apologized, saying, ``We take this very seriously, as it cannot be tolerated.''
