Roughly speaking Varenna, a popular tourist destination in Italy, introduced a dress code for tourists in June. Exposure of skin outside of the lake shore is prohibited, and violations will result in a fine of up to 200 euros. Residents have voiced that it is a nuisance to be walked around the city half-naked.
