DCP Kashi Gaurav Banswal and ADCP Vaibhav Bangar got barricading done around the mosque. Movement of people was banned. After this the bulldozer action started. The administration says that the mosque was built on railway land. The matter went to the court, from there the decision has come in favor of the Railways. Here Kashi Railway Station is being made a model. Therefore it is being expanded, that is why this action was taken. Police personnel said that the action was taken at night to avoid traffic.
