Samsung Electronics announced on the 8th that it has begun mass production of ‘PM1763’, an enterprise solid state drive (eSSD) to be mounted on NVIDIA’s next-generation ‘Vera Rubin’ platform. eSSD is a large-capacity storage device used in AI infrastructure such as artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and servers. Samsung Electronics' new eSSD product uses 9th generation V-NAND and a new 4nm-based controller to increase data processing speed and improve power efficiency.
