Reuters quoted sources it described as informed that Saudi Arabia bombed targets linked to powerful armed groups supported by Tehran in Iraq during the war with Iran. Meanwhile, Kuwait launched retaliatory raids on the country itself. The sources added that one of these attacks targeted the sites of armed groups in southern Iraq in April, causing the death of a number of members and the destruction of a facility used by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah Brigades for communications and drone operations.
