On Tuesday, it rained in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. In Agra, UP, roads and footpaths caved in due to heavy rain for about an hour. In this, cars and trucks including tractor-trolley overturned. In Singrauli, MP, a teenager died due to lightning and in Neemuch, a mother and son died when the roof of a dilapidated house collapsed. Cloud burst in Doda, Kishtwar and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Many times there were sudden floods. Due to this, roads were jammed, residential areas were submerged in water and vehicles got stuck in the debris. A person died after a tree fell during a storm in Anantnag district. Monsoon will reach Keralam on June 4. The Meteorological Department said that monsoon can reach Kerala coast on June 4. Earlier it was expected to reach Keralam on 26th May. Monsoon usually reaches Keralam around June 1 and covers the entire country in the next one and a half month.4 According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in most parts of Keralam between June 2 and 6. Orange alert has been issued in Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad on Tuesday. There is yellow alert in the remaining 11 districts.
