Accompanied hospitalization, in which parents stay overnight to accompany a hospitalized child, places a burden on the family. In a survey conducted by a support group, approximately 70% of families answered that their wishes were not reflected in whether or not to accompany the patient to the hospital, so the support group requested the government to make improvements.
