Four years after the Beppu hit-and-run, a former detective declares that suspect Yoichi Hatta is “not in Beppu.”

Roughly speaking Yoichi Hatta (29), the suspect in the Beppu hit-and-run murder case, remains on the run. A former Tokushima prefectural police inspector declared that he was not in Beppu and pointed out that he had fled the prefecture.
