Major League Baseball's Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto has been named the American League's Rookie of the Month for June. He is the 10th Japanese player to win the award, following Munetaka Murakami of the White Sox in May this year, and the first time that two Japanese players have won the award in the same year.
