UN AI panel report warns of concentration of wealth in a few companies and countries

A United Nations panel of experts assessing the benefits and risks of artificial intelligence (AI) has released its first report, warning that the development of AI and the concentration of the wealth it creates in a few companies and countries could be used for authoritarian control.
