ATLANTA (Georgia, U.S.) (Reuters) - The first round of the North and Central American soccer World Cup tournament was held on the 1st, with England coming from behind to beat the Democratic Republic of the Congo 2-1 to advance to the round of 16. England conceded the lead in the 7th minute of the first half, but Harry Kane equalized with a header from Anthony Gordon's cross in the 30th minute of the second half. Kane also fired a sharp shot from the front into the top right corner of the goal in the 41st minute.
