According to global music data company Luminate, 'Arirang', released on March 20, recorded 3.8 billion streams on major global music platforms over 8 weeks. The cumulative number of streams of all BTS music sources, including previously released albums, exceeded 5.3 billion times. The detailed results are also encouraging. The title song ‘SWIM’ surpassed 500 million streams the fastest among the worldwide songs released this year, and enjoyed even popularity, with all songs on the album exceeding 100 million streams. Physical album sales are also overwhelming. In the U.S. market alone, it sold 810,000 copies, taking first place with a wide gap between the artists in second and third place.
