Jeongeup Welfare Taxi is a welfare taxi that picks up residents from rural villages and operates to the myeon office to ensure the right of transportation for residents in areas vulnerable to public transportation. Provided by Jeongeup City Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do, will operate a demand response (DRT) ‘welfare taxi’ 24/7 starting July 1 to ensure the right of transportation for residents in areas vulnerable to public transportation. Jeongeup City has signed a business agreement with three local taxi groups, the Private Taxi Association, the Private Taxi Association, and the Corporate Taxi Council, to provide transportation on weekends and public holidays.
