The Boi Caprichoso allegories began to be transferred to the Bumbódromo concentration area, in Parintins, this Wednesday (17), marking one of the most symbolic stages of the preparation for the 59th Parintins Folklore Festival. The transfer of the modules represents the final stretch of around four months of work in the warehouses and begins to reveal to the public the scale of the show that will be presented in the arena.
The logistical operation mobilizes artists, technical teams and the Paikicés, responsible for moving the allegorical structures. Approximately 180 modules will be transported to Bumbódromo. This year, some of the floats reach 25 meters in height, while one of the structures reaches 30 meters.
The arrival of the first pieces was accompanied by the president of Boi Caprichoso, Rossy Amoedo, members of the Art Council, artists, Marujada de Guerra, Raça Azul e Branca and official items from bumbá. The moment was also marked by an act of faith, with blessings dedicated to the workers involved in the construction of the show.

"After months of production, the teams began transferring the floats to the concentration. In this first stage alone, six modules are traveling in convoy, but the expectation is to transport between 30 and 50 modules throughout the day", stated Rossy Amoedo.
Among the structures already sent to the Bumbódromo are modules signed by artists Kennedy Prata and Algles Ferreira, responsible for one of the rituals of this year's arena project. Another transported allegory is by the artist Nildo Costa.
Even though he is used to the festival routine, Kennedy Prata said that he accompanies each transfer with emotion.
"Every year it's the same emotion. Now there are only a few decorative details left. We are happy, satisfied and grateful. Caprichoso is great", he stated.
In the concentration area, the teams began work on assembling the pieces, shaping what will be seen by the public during the three nights of presentations. The structures, planned based on physical models and 3D projects, undergo final adjustments before entering the arena.
"It is at this moment that we begin to see everything taking shape. We make the final adjustments to ensure that standard of magnitude and beauty that only Caprichoso knows how to present", highlighted the president of the Art Council, Ericky Nakanome.
For advisor and artistic director Edwan Oliveira, the transfer symbolizes more than a technical stage in the preparation for the festival.
"This is a special moment. We are taking all the love for Boi Caprichoso to the arena. I have no doubt that we will make three great performances. This work is the result of months of effort, talent, creativity and, above all, a lot of faith in our ox", he said.
With the arrival of the allegories at the Bumbódromo concentration, the expectations of the Blue and White Nation increase for the show that Bumbá promises to present at the 59th Parintins Festival, reinforcing the fans' confidence that Caprichoso will bring to the arena one of the biggest projects in its history.
