Registration for the Simplified Selection Process of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) for the temporary hiring of 1,414 professionals begins this Wednesday (17th) and continues until 11:59 pm on July 15th, Brasília time. Those approved will work in the operations of the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census and also in the survey of the National Homeless Population Census. Registration must be made exclusively online, on the portal of the contracted organizing committee, Instituto Avalia. The contracts are temporary, with an initial duration of up to 12 months, and can be extended up to a limit of 48 months, depending on the needs of the operations. Last week, IBGE opened registrations for another selection process, which offers 8,238 vacancies for five mid-level positions: administrative census agent, information technology census agent, regional operational agent, regional census agent and supervisory census agent.  >> Follow the Agência Brasil channel on WhatsApp Vacancies The 1,414 vacancies are at secondary and higher education levels, with 1,020 vacancies for the position of census analyst and 394 for quality census agent. The working day is 40 hours per week for all positions. In the vacancy list, there are opportunities for analysts in training areas, such as agronomy, social assistance, librarianship, cartography, data science, accounting sciences, social sciences, educational design, information technology, economics, production engineering, statistics, geography, geoprocessing, journalism, among others. There are also opportunities to work in administrative management, infrastructure, networks, audiovisual production and web design. Among the expected duties, we highlight planning activities, data collection and analysis, preparation of technical reports, systems development, content production and support for field teams, depending on the area of ​​activity. The quality census agent will control and verify the quality of the information collected and will supervise the work of the census takers with the aim of ensuring compliance with IBGE methodological standards. Registration fee The registration fee is R$41.76 for the role of quality census agent and R$37.50 for census analyst. The notice provides for exemption from the registration fee in the Simplified Selection Process for those registered in the federal government's Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico), or bone marrow donors.  The application for exemption from the registration fee must be made between June 17th and July 15th. The notice provides for the reservation of 5% of vacancies for people with disabilities (PCD) and 30% for black candidates (black and mixed race), indigenous people and quilombola people, in accordance with current legislation. Remuneration Those approved for the position of quality census agent, which requires complete secondary education, will have a monthly salary of R$2,932. For census analyst roles, which require higher education in specific areas, the remuneration is R$5,255.40. All those hired will be entitled to benefits such as food allowance of R$ 1,192, in addition to transportation allowance, pre-school allowance, holidays and proportional 13th salary. Evidence The objective tests will be administered on August 30, in all the country's capitals and in the Federal District. Each question will have five alternatives, only one of which is correct. Candidates for the position of quality census agent will take the exam in the morning. For the role of census analyst (all areas), the tests will take place in the afternoon.
