The headline of the Cumhuriyet newspaper, revealing students who were placed in critical faculties such as Medicine, Law and Pharmacy in Türkiye with fake high school equivalence certificates, even though they had never gone abroad, was brought to the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). CHP Bursa Deputy Prof. Dr. Kayıhan Pala submitted a parliamentary question, requesting the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin to answer, regarding the organized fraud network that resulted in the Council of State canceling the diplomas of 419 students.
